Job summary

SUNY Cortland is seeking a Green Representative for Spring 2027. You will promote sustainability culture on campus, engage students, and help increase environmental behaviors through events, posters, and social media.

The role requires about 10 hours per week, collaboration in groups, and the development of campus infrastructure and sustainability initiatives. Training and semester-long projects are included.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: SUNY Cortland student, able to work independently and collaboratively, able to see projects through to completion, capable of learning environmental topics and relating info to peers, timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Promote campus sustainability and culture among students.
• Increase student engagement and community around sustainability.
• Increase environmental behaviors on campus.
• Plan and run programming events on sustainability topics.
• Create posters/displays and share via social media/newsletter.
• Plan and implement projects to develop sustainable campus infrastructure.
