San Juan College East Center in Aztec, NM seeks a part-time, 9-month team member to provide front-line operational support. The role focuses on facility access, safety, and welcoming services for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
You will assist with classroom readiness, instructional materials, and basic technology troubleshooting while maintaining a clean, organized environment and reporting operational concerns to campus personnel.
$16.54 per hour, 20 hours per week. 9 month position. Located in Aztec, NM at the SJC East Center.

Position Summary This part-time, 9 month position is responsible for providing front-line operational support for the East Center of San Juan College. The position serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and approved visitors, ensuring access to the facility, supporting instructional activities, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and reporting facility maintenance and repair needs.
The Director assigns work in terms of general instructions and established procedures. The supervisor reviews work through observations, reports, discussions and evaluation of results achieved.
Guidelines include college and department policies and procedures, building access protocols, safety standards and established operational practices. These guidelines are generally clear and specific, but may require some judgement to determine appropriate responses to concerns requiring escalation.
Contacts are typically with co-workers, other college employees, students, and the general public. Contacts are typically to give or exchange information, resolve problems, and provide services.
The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping or walking. The employee occasionally lifts light object and uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity. The work is typically performed in an educational facility and may require movement between classrooms, common areas, and building exterior spaces.
