Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a staff member to facilitate leadership classes and serve as a positive role model for students. The role involves coordinating Dorm Court, conducting focus groups, and counseling students on leadership opportunities.

You will collaborate with Career Counseling and Career Training, assist in community service activities, and help manage evening programs and dorm coverage during breaks and lunches. All duties support a student-centered learning environment.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student leadership classes.
• Serves as a positive role model for students by enforcing appropriate behavior and maintaining a helpful, responsible attitude toward them.
• Implements and coordinates Dorm Court.
• Conducts student focus groups.
• Counsels students regarding leadership opportunities and obligations.
• Coordinates the Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) semi-annually.
• Assists in coordinating evening activities for students, including tutoring in the dorms.
• Assists Business Community Liaison with student participation in community service activities.
• Assists residential staff to ensure adequate dorm coverage during breaks and lunches.
• Works with Career Counseling and Career Training to teach leadership training and plan activities for non-residential students.
