Job summary

Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University in the United States seeks a Student Employment Specialist to support the hiring and onboarding of about 2,500 student workers. You will train hiring managers, assist with Workday processes, and coordinate campus events while handling confidential information with tact and professionalism.

This full-time, exempt role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer support experience.
• Higher education experience preferred.
• Experience with Workday and Campus Solutions highly preferred.
• Experience in a deadline-driven role with multiple moving parts.
• Knowledge of federal hiring forms and immigration documents is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Record, maintain, and report student employment data confidentially.
• Respond to inquiries from students, employees, and managers.
• Support hiring managers through the student hiring and onboarding process.
• Coordinate hiring and onboarding of student employees, including background screening assistance.
• Provide guidance on Workday functionality and student employment processes.
• Ensure new-hire documents meet regulatory requirements.
• Maintain employment verification records and E-Verify requirements.
• Deliver training sessions and informational sessions for students and managers.
• Develop and deliver employee training programs and engage campus partners.
• Coordinate student employment events and engagement initiatives across campus.
• Plan and manage campus events during Student Employee Appreciation Week.
• Address student questions and employment concerns with escalation when needed.
