The Student Employment Specialist performs a variety of technical, administrative, and confidential duties supporting the day-to-day operations of the Student Employment department. This position focuses primarily on student hiring and onboarding, supporting hiring managers throughout the employment process, providing training and development, assisting with Workday processes, supporting campus events and presentations, and performing a variety of general human resources administrative functions. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits. Under the direct oversight of the Director of Student Employment, the Student Employment Specialist works in partnership with hiring managers, students, and campus departments to support the successful employment of approximately 2,500 student workers. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The annual salary range for this role is up to $46,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.
