Job summary

Liberty University, Inc. in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a part-time Student Worker for the School of Divinity. You will support the Dean’s office with projects, administrative tasks, and events, and assist professors in class with grading and classroom needs.

You’ll communicate with students via email and Canvas, create and edit documents in Microsoft Office, and track attendance for classes. Candidates must be currently enrolled students living in the local area.

Qualifications

• Current student in good standing with Liberty University.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to understand technical systems supporting the student worker role.
• Must live in the local area to report to work on campus in Lynchburg, VA.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of the Dean’s office, Department Chair, or Professor to whom assigned.
• Be present for all department events.
• Attend training sessions as directed by the department.
• Uphold campus dress code and Code of Conduct.
• Create and edit PowerPoint, Excel, or Word documents.
• Track attendance using Top Hat and post in Canvas.
• Assist in large class settings.
• Communicate with students via email and Canvas.
• Assist department with miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects.
