Job summary

UEI College in Houston, TX seeks an Associate Director of Student Affairs to support the Director of Education in leading the campus Education Team and delivering high‑quality educational programs to meet retention, completion, and licensure goals.

The role focuses on supervising student activities, coordinating with instructors and support services, and implementing strategies to improve student engagement and outcomes across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and education management experience.
• Minimum 1 year education management and administration experience.
• Minimum 3 years of instruction experience.
• Strong teaching, curriculum development, and education administration track record.
• Proficient with computer tech, databases, and online educational resources.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Comply with federal and state laws, accreditor standards, and institutional policies.
• Supervising, Monitoring and implementing student activities.
• Ensuring facilitation of Gateway to Success and College Prep Day with campus faculty and staff.
• Planning, promoting and facilitating Student Appreciation activities, Student Awards, and the Student Ambassador Program.
• Preparing and coordinating with instructors and students for Student Satisfaction Survey weeks.
• Spearheading the process and follow-up of Student Progress Reports.
• Monitoring at-risk student populations for retention, attendance and outcomes.
• Advising on activities surrounding student fails, SAP and MTF students at risk.
• Connecting with Student Service Center on campaigns and outreach.
• Collaborating with Career Services on weekly meetings and externship readiness.
• Assisting with instructor recruitment and new instructor training.
• Conducting classroom observations on an ongoing basis and quarterly reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
