Job summary

Slingshot is seeking a Campus Store Manager at Spartanburg Community College to lead the on-site store operations, integrate into the campus community, and oversee textbook and merchandise sales, campus mail, and student workers.

Strong customer service, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are essential to manage busy periods, meet daily targets, and foster collaboration with campus leadership and students.

Responsibilities

• Setting a positive tone and being an example of service, hard work, and creative problem-solving in a way that builds rapport with customers
• Providing direction to the store team and performing the duties of any team members role in their absence
• Understanding the unique specifics of the institution, without compromising our core values of character, relationship, and innovation
• Overseeing the daily operations in textbook sales, gift and merchandise sales, as well as campus mail operations
• Maintaining store stock and appearance through creative displays and merchandising
• Operate and troubleshoot all store-related services, equipment, and programs
• Oversee and assist with processing order, receiving textbooks, and general merchandise
