Job summary

Slingshot is seeking a full-time team member for campus store operations in La Mirada, CA. The role includes handling mail, shipping, customer service at the register, and inventory tasks across textbooks and merchandise.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and assist with general clerical duties. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, sorting and tracking parcels and mail in the Slingshot mail platform.
• Delivering mail and packages campus-wide with or without a vehicle.
• Serving store customers in all capacities, including POS with cash/credit handling and order fulfillment.
• Assist with in-store receiving, locating textbooks, general merchandise, and print production.
• Shipping of textbooks and general merchandise.
• Fulfilling textbook orders.
• General clerical tasks: filing, simple Word/Google docs, Excel/Sheets, emails to students.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds and carry heavy loads up/down stairs.
• Carry, shelve, bend and stretch in store operations; stand for long periods.
• Supports the store manager and stands in during absences.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
