Job summary

BibliU Ltd. is seeking a friendly Cashier (Temporary) at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, to support the campus store operations.

You will operate the cash register, help with inventory, and keep displays neat and inviting while delivering great customer service. This 25-hour-per-week role is paid at $9.00 per hour and includes on-the-job training.

Experience in retail or cashier roles is helpful; a high school diploma is required, with opportunities for additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in retail or cashier roles is beneficial but not required.
Friendly, reliable and customer-focused.
Able to handle transactions and basic stockroom tasks; capable of lifting heavy boxes.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in-store and over the phone with professionalism.
Operate the cash register accurately following store policies.
Maintain clean, organized displays and ensure shelves are stocked and well presented.
Check in, price and display supplies and merchandise.
Participate in inventory counts and track stock levels.
Record price changes and promotions accurately.
Notify staff about out-of-stock or defective items.
Follow up with customers on special orders and arrivals.
Report marketing trends and customer feedback to supervisor.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
