Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Willing to work a flexible temporary schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Help customers locate course materials, school supplies, apparel, and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system; process cash, credit, and financial aid purchases.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist with inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers and drive sales.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming store that reflects the Barnes & Noble College brand.
