Job summary

Evangel University is seeking a Campus Stewardship – HVAC Technician to perform comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC and mechanical equipment across university buildings. You will monitor and troubleshoot control systems and train customers on safe operation of HVAC equipment.

Required: minimum 2 years in commercial HVAC, valid driver’s license, and ability to respond to emergencies. On-site work in Springfield, MO with provided truck and tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid MO driver’s license
• Background check required
• Experience with VRF, DOAS, Boiler and Chiller systems preferred.
• Experience in HVAC controls and software systems preferred.
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, self-motivating, possess excellent customer service skills.

Campus Stewardship – HVAC Technician

DEPARTMENT: Facilities

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY: This position reports to the university’s HVAC supervisor and involves comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC and mechanical equipment in all university buildings. The technician will also monitor, troubleshoot and repair control systems and provide customer training on the safe operation of HVAC equipment. Regular work hours 8am-4:30pm. Technician will respond to on-call/after-hours emergencies with flex-time provided.
