Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer focused on campus reliability to design monitoring, lead blameless postmortems, and drive reliability across compute, network, storage and facilities. You will coordinate with NOC and data center operations, and own runbooks and incident response for SEV-class events at the Memphis/Southaven campus.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SRE or plant operations in data centers or power/industrial environments, strong scripting (Python, Bash),

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years in site reliability, systems engineering, plant operations, or large-scale production ops.
• Proven large-scale incident command experience and calm leadership on a bridge.
• Demonstrated monitoring and observability design at fleet/campus scale.
• Experience across two of: compute, network, storage, power, cooling or facilities telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Own monitoring architecture, signal quality, and alert hygiene across the campus.
• Provide SEV command support and incident leadership with NOC coordination.
• Run blameless postmortems and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Lead cross-functional reliability projects spanning compute, network, storage, and facilities.
• Define error budgets and availability objectives for campus and service boundaries.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for SEV-class events at the Memphis campus.
