Job summary

The University at Buffalo Parking and Transportation Services is hiring a part-time shuttle operator. Work weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to help keep the campus connected by providing reliable shuttle service between campuses.

You will perform safety inspections, keep vehicles clean, and assist students with disabilities. The role is safety-sensitive and requires a NYS CDL with Passenger Endorsement and Clearinghouse registration; campus shuttle experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a NYS CDL Class A, B, or C with Passenger Endorsement for 25 passengers.
• Create Clearinghouse account as part of the application.
• Preferred: experience operating a passenger bus or campus shuttle.
• Preferred: ability to assist individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable shuttle service within and between campus locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform regular safety inspections.
• Assist students with disabilities as needed.
