Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of transportation driving experience.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and ability to exercise exceptional judgment.
• Demonstrated commitment to following safety procedures.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment before each designated route.
• Provide trip information to the dispatcher before each trip.
• Comply with random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Report all incidents, whether minor or major, to the immediate supervisor.
