Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a dedicated Employee Shuttle driver to transport employees, students, and visitors across the MUSC campus and nearby areas. This role requires a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement, a high school diploma, and at least one year of truck driving experience.

The driver will fuel, clean, and inspect the vehicle, maintain logs, and communicate schedules with passengers, ensuring safety and courteous service in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• One year of truck driving experience required.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Transports employees, students, and visitors to MUSC and surrounding areas.
• Substitutes for other drivers and handles day trips as needed.
• Fuels and cleans the vehicle; performs pre/post inspections and fluids as needed.
• Maintains administrative logs (inspections, mileage, passenger counts, incidents) and completes mandatory training.
• Communicates schedules and services to passengers and maintains accurate records of events.
