Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean, valid NYS CDL with a P endorsement; airbrake endorsement preferred.
• Must meet NYS DOT/DMV medical requirements for 19A certified drivers.
• Must be able to deal with difficult customer concerns while maintaining composure.

Responsibilities

• Drive college-required routes and related functions for students and events.
• Perform daily vehicle pre-checks and routine maintenance.
• Fuel vehicles and record mileage and passenger reports accurately.
• Maintain legible driver and vehicle records and logs.
• Cover additional areas as needed at Transportation Manager's discretion.
• Support other projects or assignments as directed.
