Job summary

Cranbrook Educational Community in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to operate daily campus shuttles and field trips for student classes and athletic teams. The role involves safety, scheduling, and weekend availability as needed.

Hours are 30 per week during the school year, typically Monday to Friday 10:30am–4:30pm, with potential summer driving. Pay is $23.86 per hour including a license stipend, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Possess or be able to acquire a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• CDL with B, P, S endorsements and obtain a Michigan DOE bus driver card within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Drives Cranbrook school bus, loading/unloading passengers at designated stops.
• Shuttles students to campus points and athletic teams to locations for events.
• Ensures safety and security of vehicle and passengers.
• Performs routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
