Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at the University of Texas – Dallas Campus, Richardson, TX, seeks a shift supervisor to direct activities of associates during a specific shift. This is a full‑time, on‑premises role with a shift‑based schedule.

Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, with online applications accepted only. Responsibilities include training, scheduling, evaluating performance, and ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Required: supervisory experience; preferred: experience in a Starbucks or similar environment; must be able to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor, develop employees, and encourage goal setting and advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
