Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations seeks a part-time security professional to maintain a safe environment, patrol the campus, manage access, and communicate clearly with supervisors.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), bilingual in Spanish and/or Cape Verdean Creole (preferred), and availability 24–32 hours per week with potential extension; outdoor work in varying weather and emergency response are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience may be considered in place of related degree.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Cape Verdean Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of all staff and clients.
• Patrol the campus and maintain security of buildings and grounds.
• Interact with staff and clients in a professional manner at all times.
• Creates and maintains a working relationship with local police and fire rescue departments as needed.
• Assist in development and implementation of action plans to provide safe environment and immediate response to threats and incidents.
• Assist law enforcement officers as directed by administration.
• Direct traffic and parking on campus; check vehicles for proper parking authorization; determine if vehicles are parked in restricted areas.
• Complete reporting logs and/or incident reports as needed.
