Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer on a Baltimore campus to provide frontline protection, assist students and staff, and uphold safety standards. The role involves patrolling grounds, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents with professionalism and initiative.

Successful candidates will be 21+, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license may be required for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation per federal, state and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures per site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents and patrol activities.
