Job summary

McLeod Health in Dillon, SC seeks security personnel to uphold service excellence and safety. You will maintain professional image, assist patients and staff, and ensure secure posts while monitoring the loading dock traffic and camera systems.

Responsibilities include investigating incidents, escorting staff, and supporting medical campus operations, with PRN schedule and required SLED and CPI certifications to be completed within designated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and eligible for SLED firearms qualification before employment.
• Must pass the McLeod Health Psychological Evaluation before employment.
• Must complete a ½ mile run prior to employment.
• Must maintain annual SLED firearms certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
• Assist in maintaining a quiet, safe environment at the assigned Campus.
• Ensure the area (post) assigned is secure.
• Investigate crime and traffic accidents as required.
• Provide assistance for patients, visitors and staff as requested.
• Supervise and maintain traffic flow at the loading dock.
• Schedule dock time for special events.
• Maintain log of all vehicles entering and leaving the loading dock daily.
• Provide escort of Administrative staff to designated locations safely and promptly.
• Monitor/Review playback for Health & Fitness Center camera system.
