Job summary

Montgomery County Board of Education is seeking a Campus Security Guard to protect students, staff, and premises across our schools in Montgomery, Alabama.

Qualifications

• Three years of security-related employment experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol school grounds and buildings to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Inspect bags before building entry.
• Confront and assess suspicious persons and involve police when needed.
• Direct vehicular traffic and parking; report violations.
• Sound fire alarms and assist in emergencies; may help extinguish fires.
• Investigate incidents and write security reports.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, volunteers, and visitors.
