Job summary

Front Porch Communities & Services is hiring a Security Officer I to provide security services for residents and staff, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies. The role requires a valid Security Guard Card, a high school diploma or GED, and prior security experience is preferred.

Work schedule is full-time, Friday through Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with Wednesdays and Thursdays off; compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour and includes employee benefits as described

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of security experience preferred.
• Security Guard Card required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols campus grounds, lobbies, corridors and public rooms to ensure safety and security.
• Responds to fire alarms, emergency calls and other emergencies.
• Investigates and documents incidents and maintains logs.
• Enforces safety rules and reports hazards to supervision.
• Performs duties safely and uses PPE as required.
