Allied Universal in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Community College Detail to protect campus communities through visible patrols, customer service, and prompt reporting of security concerns.

The position requires professionalism, the ability to follow site policies, and effective communication with staff and visitors. Pay is $17.75 per hour with a fixed day/evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor parking and traffic activity and report incidents per site protocols.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with campus personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
