Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard for a full-time day shift patrol on a college campus in Brooklyn, NY. You will serve students, staff, and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Day shift hours are 08:00 AM–04:00 PM, with a pay rate of $21.35/hour. Requirements include a valid NYS Security Guard License and at least one year of security experience.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, notifying campus contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards.
• Complete incident reports and daily logs per site procedures.
