Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation seeks a Special Police Officer to protect a diverse campus community including National Cathedral School and St. Albans School. Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Citizen of the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain and maintain a commission as a Special Police Officer with MPD.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Prior law enforcement, security, or homeland security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive foot, vehicle, and bicycle patrols.
• Respond to emergencies and calls for service; assist community members.
• Enforce PECF policies and district regulations; document incidents.
• Provide security for functions and events; assess safety needs.
• Coordinate with communications, dispatch, and training as needed.
