Securitas is seeking a Campus Security Officer for a full-time on-site shift in Helena, MT. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, patrolling multiple locations, and maintaining a safe environment for clients and visitors.

Candidates should have 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, and strong customer service with the ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure. Military, security, or law enforcement experience is a plus; training provided.

Job Description

Primary Location: Helena, MT

Wage: $21.00/HR

Schedule: Fri - Sat: 7AM - 3PM & Sun - Mon: 3PM - 11PM

TheCampus Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Flex work is also available!!

This is on an as needed basis, providing coverage for planned and unplanned staffing needs.

Work hours vary and are assigned as needed to support staffing coverage.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Drivers Certification.
• DL needed.
