Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Campus Security Officer in Helena, MT to help maintain a safe environment for clients. The role offers a wage of $21.00 per hour, with Fri-Sat 7AM-3PM and Sun-Mon 3PM-11PM shifts.

Flex work is available; on an as-needed basis, covering planned and unplanned staffing needs. Candidates must meet basic requirements and pass pre-employment screening. Excellent customer service and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Drivers Certification.
• DL needed.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Campus Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Helena, MT

Wage: $21.00/HR

Schedule: Fri - Sat: 7AM - 3PM & Sun - Mon: 3PM - 11PM

The Campus Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Flex work is also available!!

This is on an as needed basis, providing coverage for planned and unplanned staffing needs.

Work hours vary and are assigned as needed to support staffing coverage.
