Job summary

Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) is seeking a part-time Campus Security Officer to maintain a safe school environment across LMCM campuses. Under the Head of Security, you will supervise students before, during, and after school activities and assist with events.

This role requires a CCW permit, CPR certification within 90 days, and strong communication skills. Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred, and a flexible schedule including weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• CCW permit required.
• Minimum 6 months of security or law enforcement experience recommended.
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Experience working with children.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol school hallways, entrances, and campus perimeters to maintain security.
• Monitor doors, windows, and gates throughout the day and after hours.
• Open/close gates and secure premises at day end.
• Report incidents and prepare necessary incident reports and witness statements.
• Assist in emergency drills and response planning; liaise with staff and administration.
