Job summary

Chandler Unified School District is hiring a School Security Guard to protect the safety of students, staff and school property. The role includes patrolling grounds, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and assisting in the district's Emergency Response Plan under supervision.

Starting date is immediate; 2031FT (9 MONTH) calendar with full-time schedule, 181 workdays and 22 paid holidays. Benefits include health and life insurance, retirement, PTO, wellness, and professional growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• FEMA IS-100, IS-200, IS-700 training.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol school buildings and grounds to prevent incidents.
• Monitor visitor access and assist with campus supervision.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in developing the site Emergency Response Plan.
• Complete daily incident reports and coordinate with the district.

Education

FEMA courses IS-100, IS-200, IS-700
