Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Manhattan, KS. You will patrol areas, verify access, and respond to incidents, using keen observation to keep environments safe.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass extensive screening.
• First aid certification is an asset.

• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s In It For You

• Site Location: Manhattan, KS
• Set schedule:
  • 1st schedule: Part-time, Friday through Saturday, 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • 2nd schedule: Part-time, Saturday through Sunday, 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $18.00 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
