Job summary

The Arlington Independent School District seeks a District Security Corporal to support campus safety and security operations across AISD facilities. You will assist law enforcement, monitor security systems, and coordinate with staff to deter threats and respond to incidents.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, TX DPS-PSB Level II License or higher, and security experience. Strong communication, discretion, and teamwork are essential, with bilingual abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college hours (preferred)
• Currently has, or can obtain, a TX DPS-PSB Level II License or higher
• Security or Related Experience; Minimum 1 Year
• Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record and clean background
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned

Responsibilities

• Patrol the District and provide security services to individuals on campus
• Operate a District vehicle and patrol school property to deter offenses
• Investigate offenses that occur within the District
• Enforce regulations for and on District school buses
• Respond to alarms and investigate causes; report findings
• Assist with traffic control during events and emergencies
• Deter trespassing and ensure campus safety and welfare
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and incident documentation
• Provide surveillance of parking lots and campus areas
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency agencies as needed
• Assist with central alarm monitoring and dispatching
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
