Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus partners by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and campus concerns with calm, professional problem-solving and reporting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, campuses, and walkways to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation and communicate with campus community and leadership.
