Job summary

Catholic Health Services is seeking an Officer, Security to maintain a safe environment by patrolling the facility, monitoring surveillance, and guarding entrances. The role ensures safety for customers and staff during the shift and requires vigilance in following security procedures.

Responsibilities include visitor logging, shift rounds, end-of-shift reports, door security, and timely communication with leadership and emergency services when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active Florida Class D security license required.
• 1-2 years security officer experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of computer office software.
• Must read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Log visitors upon entering the campus.
• Conduct rounds of the property during shift.
• Complete security end of shift reports.
• Ensure doors are locked during evening/night shifts.
• Follow security policies and emergency codes.
• Inform visiting hours and supervise access.
• Report irregularities to Director, Engineering and Security.
• Notify Police Department (911) when required.
