Catholic Health Services is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to maintain a safe environment on campus. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring access, logging visitors, and ensuring doors are properly secured during evening and night shifts.

The position requires a valid Florida Class D Security License, a high school diploma, and the ability to read, write, and understand English. Candidates should have 1–2 years of security experience and familiarity with basic office software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Clear and active Florida Class D Security License.
• 1-2 years of security officer experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of computer office software.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Log visitors entering the campus.
• Conduct rounds of the property during shifts.
• Complete security end of shift reports.
• Ensure doors are locked during evening/night shifts.
• Follow security policies and emergency codes.
• Inform and enforce visiting hours as applicable.
• Communicate with Director, Engineering and Security on irregularities.
• Notify Police (911) when required for emergencies.
