Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• General Experience: Level II.
• Specialized Experience: 6 Months.
• Total Experience: 1 Year.
• Total Experience: 1.5 Years.
• Substitution: HS diploma for six months general experience.
• Substitution: 1 year in law enforcement or similar for six months general and one year specialized.
• Substitution: Associate degree for six months general and one year specialized.
• Certification: Must be registered as a Guard with the Hawaii Board.

Responsibilities

• Patrols campus grounds by patrolling the school ground during class, lunch period, before and after school hours.
• Observes and reports on unusual student behavior on campus.
• Directs unauthorized persons and drivers off the school premises and monitors non-student activity.
• Assists the school administration during assemblies, pep rallies, athletic events and dances.
• Informs administrators of critical situations and may activate alarm as necessary.
