Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a Full-time Security Supervisor to oversee daily safety operations, liaison with contracted security providers, and coordinate emergency response for campus. The role involves supervising security officers, training staff, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, shift coordination, and proactive risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, security certifications, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate Degree with 2 years of directly related experience; 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of higher education compliance requirements (Camus Security Act, OSHA, FERPA, Title IX)
• First responder, first aid, CPR, AED certification

Responsabilités

• Serve as liaison between the College and contracted security providers; communicate needs and expectations.
• Lead onboarding and training of contracted security officers with the security vendor.
• Supervise contract security officers; monitor attendance, conduct, and performance assessments.
• Coordinate campus emergency drills and liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Maintain and test campus PA system and security equipment; conduct campus safety inspections.
