Job summary

Aims Community College seeks a Part-Time Campus Security Officer at the Greeley campus to ensure safety for students, staff and visitors. You will patrol buildings and grounds, respond to incidents, assist with crowd control, and provide information and support to the campus community.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement, enforcing campus rules, and assisting in emergency evacuations.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document incidents clearly and timely.
• Basic computer and typing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and facilities on foot, by vehicle, or bike.
• Report breaches of security and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Provide safety escorts for campus community.
• Monitor secure areas and deter vandalism or theft.
• Inspect buildings for safety and respond to alarms.
• Deliver customer service and guide Guest Services staff.
• Conduct investigations of security matters and write reports.
• Enforce campus rules and issue parking tickets.
• Assist in evacuations and act as initial responder during emergencies.
