Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age with Indiana driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in ministry, law enforcement, safety, security or related field preferred.
• Possess an Indiana license to carry a firearm.
• Able to complete on-the-job training in basic first aid, CPR, de-escalation and security-related training within 90 days.
• Ability to qualify with a firearm using Indiana ILEA course within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Protect people on campus and maintain safety and security of facilities, parking lots, and grounds.
• Assist staff and guests, provide physical security, respond to emergencies on campus.
• Provide directions, information, and assistance to guests.
• Serve as a visible security presence and patrol parking lots/buildings.
• Document incident reports and other required information accurately.
