Job summary

Bucks County Community College is seeking a Full-Time Security & Safety Officer to protect students and staff, enforce campus regulations, and respond to emergencies. The role includes patrolling buildings and grounds, locking/unlocking facilities, directing traffic, and reporting incidents.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and the ability to work 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) on weekdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of security or law enforcement experience.
• Valid operator's license and a clear motor vehicle record.
• Ability to perform continuous interior and exterior patrols on rotating shifts in all weather.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with diverse groups.
• Willing to work all shifts and campuses; capable of long walks and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds on foot and in vehicles.
• Enforce College regulations and the Student Code of Conduct.
• Assist in safety, transportation, and hazard response as needed.
• Lock/unlock doors, inspect windows and gates, and file reports.
