Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to perform essential physical duties and communicate effectively.
• Fulfill Alabama Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission training or obtain APOSTC.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus property by vehicle or on foot to provide security and enforce traffic laws.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls; render first aid on campus.
• Write detailed incident/accident reports and conduct investigations.
• Provide escort services and public assistance; lock/unlock buildings as needed.
• Maintain logs, operate equipment, present evidence, and may act as on-scene commander.
