Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience working with youth and the public preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
• One year of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly visible security presence on school campuses by foot, vehicle, or bicycle during school hours and events.
• Monitor access, behavior, and incidents; escort students as needed and report misconduct.
• Operate radios, monitor CCTV, conduct searches, and collaborate with administration/law enforcement.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Respond to emergencies, administer first aid if necessary, and assist in drills and safety procedures.
• Maintain safety by inspecting doors, gates, and security systems, and respond to security concerns.
