Job summary

Scottsdale USD 48 District Wide is seeking a Security Officer to patrol district campuses and extracurricular events, protecting students, staff and property. You will monitor access, escort students where needed, and coordinate with administrators and local law enforcement as required.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, background checks, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Up to 50% outside exposure in heat is possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Criminal justice coursework or related field preferred.
• Experience working with youth and public preferred; one year of related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence on campuses and events.
• Monitor access and supervise student behavior; enforce safety protocols.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with administrators.
• Respond to emergencies including alarms, fights and medical incidents.
