Job summary

Alamogordo Public Schools is seeking a Campus Security Officer to promote safety, provide security, and protect all students, staff, and district property.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior security experience preferred, and the ability to work well in a team. The role involves interpreting policies, maintaining confidentiality, and communicating effectively with students, staff, and the public.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to interpret and disseminate information including, but not limited to, student/District disciplinary policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with students, staff, administration, and the public.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements as assigned.
• Some computer literacy and operational skills.
