Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Job Corps or related program experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid in-state driver''s license and meet insurability requirements.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, and crouching.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe and secure Center environment for students and staff
• Investigate accidents and incidents under management direction, preparing reports and recommending corrective action
• Conduct routine safety inspections of Center equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards
• Enforce occupational safety and health regulations and standards
• Conduct and document incident and accident investigations within established timelines
• Perform Center-wide security tours and assist with student monitoring and supervision
• Respond to emergency situations and requests
• Oversee Center security, visitor control, and student accountability
• May assist dorm staff with inspections and contraband searches
• Maintain the security and cleanliness of Center facilities and property
• May provide residential, recreation, and transportation assistance as needed
