A.T. Still University is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Campus Security/Safety Officer (CSO) on the San Luis Obispo, California campus. The CSO monitors security cameras and provides protection and security for all assigned properties of A.T. Still University.

There are 3 available positions. The pay rate starts at $20.57 per hour. Join a 24-hour Campus Safety team to support students, faculty, and staff with professional security services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• California Guard Card required.
• Previous security or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and protect university properties.
• Assist 24-hour Campus Safety team across shifts.
• Create and update ID badges and manage access control.
• Maintain lost-and-found property inventory and disposal.
• Lock/unlock doors per procedures and patrol premises as needed.
• Report hazards, incidents, and investigations accurately.
• Maintain RMS and distribute safety-related reports.
