Job summary

Villanova University seeks a Patrol Officer II to maintain safety and protect life and property across campus. You will respond to emergencies, file detailed incident reports, patrol buildings and collaborate with departments and external agencies to ensure a secure environment for students and staff.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and at least one year in security or related fields, plus a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time, 12-month role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of security/police/EMS or fire experience preferred in a college setting.
• Valid driver’s license with university driver approval.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative patrols and respond to emergencies.
• Prepare clear incident reports and assist with building access and safety.
• Enforce campus regulations and assist in crowd control for events.
• Testify in campus hearings and interact professionally with the community.
