Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds to promote safety, identify unsafe conditions and report violations.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, serving as first responder to fire alarms and medical situations.
• Use problem-solving, mediation, and de-escalation strategies per College policies to manage incidents.
• Complete detailed incident reports and document shift activity.
• Educate the campus community on safety topics through instruction and enforcement.
• Provide general security services such as locking/unlocking buildings, rooms, gates, and vehicles.
• Transport students to the Health and Wellness Center and local hospital.
• Maintain safe and orderly campus parking lots and enforce parking rules.
