Champlain College in Burlington, VT is seeking Campus Public Safety Officers to join a dedicated team providing safety and security for the campus community. You will respond to calls, patrol grounds, and collaborate with local agencies to keep students and staff safe.

We offer comprehensive benefits, training, and a clear path to growth. The position requires rotating shifts including nights and weekends, with strong customer service and problem-solving skills valued.

Competenze

• Excellent judgment required.
• Physical ability to perform essential functions.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• Driver's license required, with no more than 3 points.

Mansioni

• Respond to all calls for assistance, including 911 and quality of life issues.
• Report detailed narratives of actions and results.
• Perform campus patrols by vehicle, bike, and on foot.
• Conduct daily lock-ups/unlocks and checks of facilities.
• Provide welfare checks and safety escorts as needed.
